University of Missouri

$75.00

The campus of Mizzou is divided into the Red Campus and the White Campus. The Tigers football team got its name from a militia group, the “fighting tigers of Columbia,” that was active in the Civil War.

The buildings depicted are Memorial Union, The Columns and Jesse Hall, and Engineering East. The Memorial Union is built out of native limestone which gives that area of campus the name “White Campus.” The Columns stand in remembrance of Academic Hall which burned down in 1892 and was replaced by Jesse Hall. Jesse Hall and Engineering East are part of the Red Campus and are on the historic Quad.

Mizzou students take great pride in their school while building lasting memories. That makes this a unique gift for recent graduates, past alumni, and fans of all ages. Relive the memories!

Your school’s artwork was created by hand using pen, ink, and watercolor. The paper is hand cut and layered to give the work a creative three-dimensional appeal. The image is 3.5” x 12.5” and is framed with a black/gold mat in a 9” x 18” quality, black metal frame.
