As a completely new and separate institution, The University of South Florida became the first new institution of its kind to be conceived and built in the U.S. In the 20th Century. The University was built on Fowler Ave on the site of Henderson Air Field, a WWII airstrip. Before Henderson Field the area was part of the 1920’s Temple orange grove, the largest citrus grove in the world at the time.
The view of the South Florida scene includes Marshall Student Center, MLK Plaza Walkway, Main Entrance, Communication and Information Sciences, and Selmon Athletic Center.
Students have fond memories of their time on campus making this a great gift for recent graduates, supportive past alumni and fans of all ages. Let the memories begin!
Your school’s artwork was created by hand using pen, ink, and watercolor. The paper is hand cut and layered to give the work a creative three-dimensional appeal. The image is 3.5” x 12.5” and is framed with a maroon/white mat in a 9” x 18” quality, black metal frame.
