Murray State University
$75.00
Murray State was founded in 1922, and the official seal of the university includes The Shield. The three stars on The Shield represent hope, endeavor, and achievement. The mascot is Racer One, a thoroughbred who runs around the perimeter of the football field when they score a touchdown. And if you are looking for your shoes, try the “Shoe Tree.”
The buildings depicted are Oakhurst, Pogue Library, Lovett Auditorium, the Stubblefield Entrance, and Alexander Hall. Oakhurst is the president’s residence. Pogue Library and Lovett Auditorium are located on the historic Quad. Alexander Hall is part of the newer West Campus and set the new architectural style that would become consistent throughout the campus.
Murray State students take great pride in their school while building lasting memories. That makes this a unique gift for recent graduates, past alumni, and fans of all ages. Relive the memories!
Your school’s artwork was created by hand using pen, ink, and watercolor. The paper is hand cut and layered to give the work a creative three-dimensional appeal. The image is 3.5” x 12.5” and is framed with a blue/gold mat in a 9” x 18” quality, black metal frame.
