The campus of Valdosta State is designed in a Spanish Mission architectural style thanks to one of its presidents who travelled throughout the southwest. The Valdosta State Blazers have developed from a Normal College to a Women’s College and finally, to the University it is today.
The buildings depicted are Martin Hall, West Hall, Gateway, and Pound Hall. The Gateway was presented to the college by the Alumni Association in 1960. West Hall is the oldest building on campus built in 1917. Pound Hall is located on the North Campus.
Valdosta State students take great pride in their school while building lasting memories. That makes this a unique gift for recent graduates, past alumni, and fans of all ages. Relive the memories!
Your school’s artwork was created by hand using pen, ink, and watercolor. The paper is hand cut and layered to give the work a creative three-dimensional appeal. The image is 3.5” x 12.5” and is framed with a black/red mat in a 9” x 18” quality, black metal frame.
