Radford University is located in the Virginia Highlands between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains. It began as a women’s college and later became the women’s division of VA Tech. Radford College became Radford University in 1979.
The buildings depicted are Muse Hall, the Fountain, John Preston McConnell Library, Fairfax Hall, and Moffett Hall. Muse Hall is a residential hall and has a clock tower that can be seen all over campus. John Preston McConnell Library was named for the college’s first president. Moffett Hall is a residential hall.
