The Georgia College campus contains red brick buildings and white Corinthian columns, representative of the Pre-Civil War Antebellum Period. The college originated in Milledgeville which, at the time, was the capital of Georgia.
The buildings depicted are Russell Auditorium, Atkinson Hall, and the Old Governor’s Mansion. Russell Auditorium was built in 1926 and has witnessed hundreds of plays, convocations, concerts, and readings. Atkinson Hall was built in 1896 and was saved from demolition by a group of alumni in 1977.
Georgia College students take great pride in their school while building lasting memories. That makes this a unique gift for recent graduates, past alumni, and fans of all ages. Relive the memories!
Your school’s artwork was created by hand using pen, ink, and watercolor. The paper is hand cut and layered to give the work a creative three-dimensional appeal. The image is 3.5” x 12.5” and is framed with a blue/green mat in a 9” x 18” quality, black metal frame.
