Texas A&M University has become one of the nation’s premier research universities. Other than the national service academies, the Corps of Cadets has produced more officers than any other institution. The Aggies compete in the Southeastern Conference and have won seventeen national titles. Gig ‘em, Aggies!

The buildings depicted are the Quad, Albritton Tower, the Academic Building, Century Oak, and Systems Building. The Quad houses the facilities for the Corps of Cadets. The Albritton Tower is a historical campus landmark and was the original entrance to the school. The Academic Building is the centerpiece for the main campus and was built in 1914 after Old Main was burned down. Tradition holds that if you walk under the Century Oak with a lover you will be together forever.
