Mississippi State University is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a comprehensive doctoral research university. Previously known as the Aggies and the Maroons, the school’s sixteen athletic teams are now known as the Bulldogs. At football games, fans bring cowbells to ring the Bulldogs on to victory.
The buildings depicted are Montgomery Hall, Chapel of Memories, Lee Hall, and The Industrial Education Building. The Chapel of Memories was built using bricks from the Old Main Dormitory that burned down in 1959. The Industrial Education Building is the oldest building on campus and is also referred to as the “Twin Towers Building.”
