UNC Charlotte, like many of the United States post WWII universities, owes its beginning to the G.I. Bill. UNC Charlotte has three campuses: Charlotte Research Institute Campus, Center City Campus, and the main campus located in University City.
The buildings depicted are the Student Activity Center, 49ers Gold Miner statue, Student Union, Duke Centennial Hall, and Atkins Library. The Student Union opened in 2009 and primarily provides space for students to meet and conduct student activities. The early buildings on campus from the 1960s were pre-cast in concrete. UNCC’s new look is neoclassical architecture in brick.
UNCC students take great pride in their school while building lasting memories. That makes this a unique gift for recent graduates, past alumni, and fans of all ages. Relive the memories!
Your school’s artwork was created by hand using pen, ink, and watercolor. The paper is hand cut and layered to give the work a creative three-dimensional appeal. The image is 3.5” x 12.5” and is framed with a green/white mat in a 9” x 18” quality, black metal frame.
